The Creation Center for Children and Adolescents START was established by the Sub Stejar Cultural Association in 2021 in the town of Târgu Lăpuș, Maramureș, Romania. The theater workshop is coordinated by Silvia Roman, but throughout the meetings, children had the opportunity to meet and learn the secrets of the profession from set designers, costume designers, composers, actors, puppet artists, acrobats, and choreographers. It is a personal development workshop through theater where children are encouraged to express themselves as freely and creatively as possible. The theater performances produced within the center have been performed by children and played in front of a large audience. The center was hosted by the Cultural House of Târgu Lăpuș, a private playground space in the town, and currently, the workshops take place at the headquarters of the Sub Stejar Cultural Association in Târgu Lăpuș. To date, over 100 children aged between 4 and 16 have participated in the theater workshop coordinated by Silvia Roman.
